FINE ART NOTE CARDS
Scott Hofmann, Hofmann Studios - Bestseller!
Santa Maria, California
When engineer Scott Hofmann began painting several
years ago, it was only natural that his childhood passion for trains
should creep into his artwork. His detail-oriented engineering background
informed his artistic talent, enabling him to produce images that
bring his subjects to life. Scott began with landscapes, and then
turned his attention to the train yard, hoping to capture and preserve
the rich heritage of the steam locomotive era.
With each brush stroke, Scott develops the sharp
detail and complexity of each locomotive. In the images shown here,
the viewer can almost smell the fresh burnt coal and feel the power
of the steam locomotive. Scott's purpose is to place the viewer at
the scene to experience and witness these mechanical marvels in action.
